- Working as the CTO for a small public company (OTC), I developed a complete online backup
solution for home office workers. This included a cost effective server setup with 60 TB of
data online in redundant data centers on both sides of the country. As part of this project
I setup a remote office for the company in Arizona, hired a team of developers for them to
continue development and upkeep, and implemented a full 24 x 7 VOIP based call center for support.
- In the UK, if Text Messaging (SMS) is king, then going to the pub is a close second. I developed
technology that would allow customers to send text messages to live display systems and games inside pubs,
clubs, and other venues. This high-tech merger between cell phones, the internet, large screen displays,
DJ booths, and big screen displays is taking this market by storm.
- Working with a team of trusted developers I've used many times, I helped a communications
company build a full-featured audio-video conference system including "GoToMyPC" style remote
access. This solution was deployed in the hospitatlity industry including leading locations such
as Marriot.
- Working with a venture capital company and the City of Phoenix Police Department, I designed,
developed, and pattented a new method for processing traffic accidents in a fraction of the time. This
fully automated mobile forensic lab automated the process of data collection, photography, report
processing, and traffic control.
- For the last 5 years I have worked with a small ecommerce company in the Gift / Wholesale industry
to bring the entire product supply chain online. This includes the manufacturers, rep agents, and retail
sites. This solution provider is now a leading vendor in that industry with over 500,000 products online.
Although this client is a "Mom and Pop" business, they are category leaders due to the
industry leading technology created for them.
- The event ticket buying and selling business is cut-throat. The difference between good seats
and tickets you're left holding comes down to seconds. My client, a leading event reseller, saw the need
to get an upperhand. The automation software I developed for him assures him a top spot in his industry.
- When a long-time media consultant wanted to launch a new radio station's online presence in one of the
hottest radio markets in the country, he came to me and my small team. I had already played a key
part in 4 other radio stations for him in 8 years, so the choice was easy. I worked with them to develop an online strategy including a complete
web presence, online contests, streaming radio and much more. Even though the client had
a very short deadline, the site launched ontime and is available to the consumer in multiple languages.
- An India based venture capital company wanted to launch a new form of secure id card system in
another country. For this prototype development project, I designed a biometic based "credit card" capable
of storing the holders identification and medical history in simple secure form.
- A growing internet service provider in Japan needed a way to support the rapid rate
of expansion they were undergoing. To solve this problem I designed and built a complete
automated Internet Service Provider management system available in both English and Japanese.
This linux-based solution is still in use 5 years later on multiple continents.
- Entering data for payroll is no easy task. My client is a payroll agency and handles payroll
for clients from different types of business with all different types of needed. I created a
full featured payroll system prepared for commercial resale. This required re-inventing standard
windows data entry because using the mouse for payroll can rapidy decrease productivity.
