Project Details: iBob    (1996)

Back when Netscape 2.0 ruled and I was the head of Research and Development for Primenet (now GlobalCrossing), Microsoft called. Working with the local Microsoft Office our R&D team (me and 2 guys in a room playing Doom) came up with this concept. Remember, this is way before Microsoft had anything like IE4 so the concept of a left side window was totally new. When you look at IE4 and future versions you'll see how ahead of the game we were.

Here it is, the first alpha version (started in 1995)

Here is the application as shown to Microsoft's local office. Keep in mind, this is not designed for customers at this point so the UI is not complete. It's a proof of concept.
